Faith Groups Print

Faith groups are an important ministry here at Annville United Methodist Church. These groups promote caring relationships where people can turn to each other in times of crisis, knowing that any discussions will be kept in strict confidence. Members will often pray for each other.

Wednesday Morning Faith Group: This group meets Wednesday Mornings from 9:30 AM until 11:30 AM on the lower level. They read and discuss books by Christian  authors such as C.S. Lewis, Rick Warren, Dr. David Jeremiah, Lee Stroble, William Paul Young and others. The group focuses on present day situations, the Bible and how to apply it's teachings to everyday life. Contact Connie Zimmerman or the church office for more details.

United Methodist Men: This group meets monthly for a prayer breakfast at a local restaurant. The group has also worked with Habitat for Humanity, United Ways Day of Caring and performed work around the church. Contact the church office for details on the next scheduled event.

United Methodist Women: This group organizes various projects throughout the year including soup donations for the food bank, Christmas stockings for residents of local nursing homes and preparing meals for special events.

There are also seasonal groups and members of the congregation that organize activities such as Scarf and Mitten tree for Lebanon Valley Christian Ministries, Cropwalk for Church World Service, and 30 Hour Famine for World Vision.

We always keep an empty chair in our groups so there is always room for one more. Everyone is welcome to visit or join a group. Please contact the church office to get connected.
